After a lot of soul searching the committee has decided to sell our launch NUTMEG. Nutmeg is a very attractive GRP simulated clinker launch, very sound and strongly built. Is double ended with bilge keels and dries out level. She has a three cylinder Perkins diesel engine water cooled with heat exchanger. Very reliable and regularly maintained. She has a canvas cuddy and separate all over weather cover when moored. There is an electric anchor winch with anchor, fish finder, electric and manual bilge pumps. Stainless steel fuel tank, outboard bracket, stainless boarding ladder. And has recently been rewired and revarnished. Asking price £6,500 ono. If you know anyone who might be interested please let any of the committee know.

Dear StD Members,
at Lymington is a splendid open air, sea water, swimming pool where it is possible to hire kayaks plus instructors for £10 per hour. This will be ideal for any of you who wish to learn or practice falling out of kayaks and how to get back in. Our previous sessions have done wonders for the confidence of beginners and for the skills of those with a few hours of paddling already under their spray decks. Deliberately falling out of a boat is a great way of conquering the fear of doing it accidentally! The previous sessions have also been good fun. If enough of you are interested, I will be happy to organise a session before summer is over. Please respond straight away so that I can judge demand and get a booking in.
