We can give you some basic tuition to get you afloat in either rowing boats, kayaks and paddle boards or you can go out sailing initially as crew in our sailing boats. Once you can demonstrate basic competency with particular boats you are “signed-off” for those boats and can then use them without supervision.
We do not require formal boating qualifications but professional training including: RYA dinghy levels 1,2,3 . British Canoeing kayak rolling and foundation safety, RYA Powerboat Level 2, and RYA Day skipper are available to members at special discounted rates through our partnerships with Woodmill, SWAC, and other local clubs.
